KCSO reports

• At 2:49 p.m., Friday, March 31, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a theft from a Village Commons Boulevard apartment. Complainant advised an unknown suspect entered the apartment at the retirement home and took a Ring camera with a listed value at $600 and clothes/furs with a listed value at $300 without permission.

Complainant was advised to call back with the model and serial numbers for the listed camera before NCIC entry could be made.

• At 1:27 p.m., Thursday, March 30, a victim called KCSO East Precinct to report a theft, which occurred at Design House Interiors,11631 Parkside Drive.

According to the victim, around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, an unknown black male cut and stole two catalytic converters off victim’s 2013 Toyota Tundra that was parked at the back of the business. Victim said he does have video footage but it is blurry.

He said he couldn’t see the suspect’s face clear enough to guess at an age range. Total value of loss was listed at $4,000.

• At 4:23 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, a victim came into KCSO West Precinct to report harassment. She said her ex-boyfriend (suspect) had been contacting her through electronic communication.

“She (said) that he continually sends her texts messages from random numbers that contain her location,” the report stated. “She is unaware of how he is tracking her. She has blocked him on every type of account that she can think of. She was given a blue card and advised of legal remedies.”

• At 9:26 a.m., March 29, a complainant called KCSO North Precinct to report a theft at Farragut Post Office, 11409 Municipal Center Drive. She advised on Feb. 9 she dropped her Sugarwood HOA check into the mailbox for $450. “She advised she received an e-mail last week advising her the HOA fee was due and she needed to pay it.

She contacted them and advised she already paid the fee. She was advised by HOA they never received her check.

She then contacted her bank, ORNL (Federal Credit Union), and they advised her the check was deposited on Feb. 14 for $450 into Fifth Third Bank. She advised the check had no endorsement and the amount nor the payee name was changed.

• At 2:34 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a vehicle burglary from a Hickory Woods Road address.

Complainant said an unknown suspect stole an Apple computer, keyboard and iPad case (total value listed at $451.67) from his unlocked 2018 BMW X5 vehicle between 9 p.m., Sunday, March 26, and 1 a.m., Monday, March 27.
