A new advertising rep on board

Saying he’s “never met a stranger in my life” and has developed customer service skills, Sam Birdwell has joined farragutpress as an advertising rep, effective Monday, Feb. 26.

“I think the strongest thing pulling me into this job is that I’ve spent years working in customer service,” said Birdwell, 25, who will be servicing Farragut along with Loudon and Blount counties.

“Sam comes to us with a wonderful résumé of outstanding customer service and a keen understanding of the importance of not only acquiring new clients, but retaining and appreciating current clients,” Charlene Waggoner, farragutpress advertising manager, said.

“We are excited to add him to our team. I think his energy and fresh ideas will be a true asset to farragutpress,” she added.

A native of Powell and a 2018 grad of Powell High School, Birdwell is engaged to Holly Bollmann. The couple will marry in May.
