Platinum 4: local Anytime Fitness

Anytime Fitness in Farragut, which has been outperforming corporate metrics this decade, was recognized for a fourth straight year as Club Platinum, a top 100 performing Anytime Fitness club.

The club at 12572 Kingston Pike was one of almost 3,000 in United States and Canada that vie for the designation.

“It’s an honor,” said Jay Povlin, co-owner with wife, Louise Povlin. “It’s nice to be recognized.”

“Thanks to the hard work of the team at the Farragut location, and to a thriving community of members, we’re making healthy happen every day,” Louise said. “We are thrilled to have this recognition and appreciate our members’ support.

“It’s especially pleasing that our performance is so consistent, that we have earned this award for four years running,” she added. “The team really hit it out of the park.”

“Seeing the team gel around a goal of making this club grow through extreme attention to the members’ success and a hyper focus on club culture has been satisfying.” Jay added. “This is not easy work and takes dedication and perseverance.

“Louise and I would like to thank Estella Nelson, our managing business partner, for the long hours and consistently high standards of performance,” he added.

“It’s a lot of hard work” that results in “benefits for the members.”

“Based upon several key performance metrics, Anytime Fitness Farragut finishes 2023 in the top 100 of nearly 3,000 clubs in operation in North America,” a company press release stated. “As Anytime Fitness Farragut enjoys its 13th year serving the Farragut community, Anytime Fitness Corporate recognizes its 2023 performance by awarding Club Platinum status.

Performance metrics include member satisfaction surveys, staff response time for member input, member attrition rates.

“Performance like this is not easy and should be celebrated,” noted Thomas Carlson, Anytime Fitness corporate franchisee consultant for the Farragut location.

“Throughout the year, the Farragut team worked with us on ideas to enhance the experience and improve performance,” he added.

“Obviously, they succeeded, and we couldn’t be more pleased.”

Anytime Fitness Farragut opened its doors on Oct. 12, 2012, and has operated in that location since then. With nine employees, of which five are personal trainers, the club provides full fitness and wellness services 24 hours seven days a week.

“When our members sign up, a consultant gives them a body composition scan and small group team training,” Nelson said.
