What does that mean?
I found the first article in the Spring 2016 “Talk of the Town” to be laughable.
The “branding” phrase for the Town, “Live Closer. Go Further” being an essentially incomprehensible, recondite moniker to begin with now requires more than 600 words to explain its meaning.
A logo should stand on its own and not require explanation or it is ineffectual with respect to the inherent purpose of a logo. An esoteric explanation of what this logo is supposed to mean only results in an “ipso facto” regarding its utter failure.
The branding, instead, only succeeds in producing the reaction: “What the heck does that mean?”
