Independence Day Parade
Several hundred families, some with babies less than 1 year old, joined 99-year-old Charles Fuller of Farragut to line the north and south sides of
Kingston Pike — a 1.2-mile stretch — and enjoy 29th Annual Farragut Independence Day Parade Monday morning, July 4.
Joining Grand Marshal Jeff Jacoby as major attractions included Tennessee Valley Model A Ford cars, dating back to 1928, and Knox County Sheriff’s Office helicopters.
Political dignitaries — Town, county and state — joined Farragut businesses plus local school and church representatives to fill out the 95 parade entries.
