• On May 30 at around 6 p.m., suspects entered Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, in Farragut. The suspects, a 46-year-old white male, a 41-year-old white male and a 22-year-old white male, cut the security devices off of merchandise and concealed the items. The suspects were observed on recorded video surveillance leaving the store to go to an unidentified vehicle in the parking lot and would re-enter the store to conceal more merchandise. Kohl’s loss prevention positively identified the suspects. The suspects worked in concert with the intent to deprive the owner of the merchandise. The total retail value of the merchandise was $1,879.91. The store does have recorded video surveillance of the incident on file. This did occur in Farragut.
• On June 14 at around 3:02 p.m., a West Gallaher Ferry Road complainant advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office that while at the register at Publix supermarket, 11656 Parkside Drive, Farragut, she found an unknown suspect had stolen her Coach wallet from inside her purse. She stated the wallet was in her purse when she entered the store and she is unsure as to when it was stolen while inside the store. Estimated loss is about $420.
• On June 14 at around 4:01 p.m., a Maplewood Development LLC complainant stated to KCSO that between noon and 4:01 p.m. an unknown suspect took the roofing shingles from the front yard at a property off Limerick Lane. He advised a worker may have seen the suspect and suspect vehicle, but at the time of report he did not have that information. He advised the witness works for another company and speaks Spanish. Estimated loss is $2,500.
• On June 7 at around 7:48 p.m., a Woodbury Court complainant advised KCSO that between 7 and 7:10 p.m. an unknown suspect took a Coach purse and wallet, drivers license, insurance card, medical card and currency out of the vehicle, a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The suspect gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the passenger side window. Estimated loss is about $1,130.
• On June 14 at around 7:26 p.m., a Harmon Road complainant advised KCSO between 8 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., the suspect, a 40-to-49-year-old black male, took a Rolex watch and gold Canadian coins from Concord Watch Clock and Jewelry, 11130 Kingston Pike, Farragut, without paying. The complainant stated the suspect asked to look at items in two different cases. The complainant advised she left the cases open accidentally when the phone rang and the suspect reached in and grabbed the items. The complainant advised she has video surveillance. The complainant was transferred to communications for fingerprints. Copy sent to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss was $14,000.
• On June 16 at around 11:49 a.m., a complainant at Kroger Marketplace, 189 Brooklawn St., Farragut stated at 7:45 p.m., June 10, a white female between the ages of 35 and 40 went through USCAN and scanned a Kroger gift card loading $200 on the card. She said the suspect told the clerk she had forgotten her wallet and had to go back to the car to retrieve it. According to the complainant the suspect left with card and never returned. The complainant stated the card was used shortly after leaving the store. The complainant advised there has been a group of people, males and females, hitting several Kroger locations doing the same thing. She said the suspect did not park close to the store so they do not have a vehicle description.
• On June 16 at around 11:50 a.m., a complainant at Kroger Marketplace, 189 Brooklawn St., Farragutm stated to KCSO at around 7:50 p.m., June 10, a white male between the ages of 40 and 45 went through a checkout line with a Kroger gift card. According to the complainant the suspect told the cashier he wanted $200 put on the card. She said after the amount was loaded on the card the suspect told the cashier he had left his wallet in the car and had to go retrieve it. The complainant advised the suspect exited the store with card and never returned. According to the complainant the card was used shortly after the suspect left. The complainant said there is a group of people male and females who have gone to several Kroger locations doing the same thing.
• On June 16 at around 12:03 p.m., a Concord Road complainant stated to KCSO between June 11 and June 13 an unknown suspect took her property, two necklaces and two bracelets, from her residence. She advised she believes it is a friend of her nephew’s that took the property and he is known to frequent pawnshops. She advised he recently pawned items, but not hers, at American Pawn off Kingston Pike. She advised she did not want to prosecute at this time. She advised she did not know the value for the items listed and could not provide one at the time of report.
• On Monday, June 20, 2016, at around 7:44 a.m., KCSO responded to Autoglass of America, 411 Lovell Road, for a vandalism call. Complainant stated sometime between the close of business Friday and opening the next morning someone appeared to have fired a gun through the front window of the business causing it to shatter. No suspect information was available and Xray was called to the scene to document the damage. Estima-ted loss was $1,200.
• On June 21 at around 8:04 a.m., a Long Ridge Road complainant advised KCSO he found an unknown suspect had entered his vehicle and stolen items from the glove compartment. He stated the doors to the vehicle had been unlocked. No damage was done. Estimated loss was $40.
• On June 15, 2016, at around 11:50 a.m., KCSO was contacted by Pinnacle Security of a theft at Off Broadway Shoes. Two white males and two white females had entered the store and one of the white females concealed three pair of Nike flip flops into her purse. Estimated loss was $30.
• On June 22 at around 1:09 p.m., a Foremast Road complainant advised KCSO that between midnight, June 11, and 1:59 p.m., June 16, an unknown suspect took a 2000 Buick Regal vehicle. He advised the vehicle was locked and parked at Campbell Station Park and did not have a spare key inside of it. He advised he has checked with several tow companies to see if the vehicle had been towed. Copy of report given to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss is $3,500.
• On June 24, 2016, at around 2:29 a.m., a Cheshire Drive complainant/victim stated to KCSO that someone had stolen two laptop computers, NIKE shoes, ear buds and Bluetooth speakers from his hotel room sometime between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. Both victims are staying in room 302 at the Clarion Inns & Suites, 11312 Campbell Lakes Drive, Farragut. Both victims stated that they did not have any suspect information and that there was no forced entry. The clerk stated that there are security cameras and they would need to be accessed by the manager. Estimated loss is $869.
• On June 24 at around 12:05 p.m., a Bombay Palace complainant stated to KCSO he believes around 2 a.m., June 21, person(s) unknown entered his vehicle and stole his business checkbook. According to the complainant there was no damage to the vehicle so he believes it must have been unlocked. The complainant said he was unaware the checkbook was gone until he was contacted this date by the Suntrust branch off Merchants Road regarding someone trying to cash one of the checks. The victim is the owner of Bombay Palace off Parkside Drive. The complainant requested an officer be sent to the Merchants Road Suntrust to try and locate the suspects. A Knoxville City Police officer was sent to this location. The suspect(s) were no longer at the bank. The check the suspect(s) tried to cash was left with bank personnel for the Knox County detective assigned to pickup.
• On June 25 at around 3:38 p.m., KCSO officers responded to Best Buy, 11491 Parkside Drive, for the report of an intoxicated male. Store loss prevention officer Steve Koch stated he observed an intoxicated male stealing items from their store. Store loss prevention made contact with the arrestee and both waited for law enforcement. The arrestee was unsteady on his feet and at one point had passed out in the store. The arrestee stated his mom is an anesthesiologist and gives him pills. The arrestee stated he had consumed pills not prescribed to him prior to contact with officers. The arrestee was placed into custody and transported to the Knox County Detention Facility and his vehicle was towed to Cedar Bluff Towing.
• On June 25 at around 7:57 p.m., KCSO officers responded to a Newcomb Lane address in regards to a stolen motor vehicle. Just prior to the victim calling law enforcement, a witness called stating he was behind a motor vehicle that he witnessed a female steal from the Shell gas station off North Campbell Station Road and was heading into Loudon County. Loudon County made contact with the vehicle after it had been abandon at Shoney’s restaurant, 1100 Highway 321 North, Lenior City and made contact with Knox County sending officers to respond to Newcomb Lane. Complainant stated he and his daughter stopped at the Shell Station at 801 N. Cambell Station Road and were approached by a white female in a long green dress asking for money and a ride to Loudon County. When complainant stated no he went into the store with his daughter and the female got into his car and left. Complainant stated that he went home to notify the property owner prior to calling law enforcement. Owner’s daughter-in-law responded to Shoney’s and took possession of the vehicle. Shoney’s and the Shell gas station both have working security footage. This occurred in Farragut.
• On June 26 at around 3:43 a.m., a Roxbury Point complainant stated to KCSO that between 1:30 and 3:43 a.m., June 26, his wallet was taken by the white female suspect. The suspect was out on a date with the complainant when she stood up from her seat, grabbed the wallet that was lying on the table and walked out of Wild Wing Café, 11335 Campbell Lakes Boulevard. Complainant stated he saw the suspect take the wallet but did not want confrontation.
• On June 15 at around 11:50 a.m., KCSO was contacted by Pinnacle Security of a theft at Off Broadway Shoes, 11449 Parkside Drive, Farragut. KCSO made contact with store manager who stated that two white males and two white females had entered the store and that one of the white females had concealed three pair of Nike flip-flops in her purse. Suspect exited the store with the two white male suspects and entered into a white Chevrolet Aveo. Suspects left parking lot. Estimated loss $90.
• On June 22 at around 1:59 p.m., a Foremast Road complainant advised KCSO that between June 11 and June 16 an unknown suspect took a 2000 Buick Regal valued at $3,500. He advised the vehicle was locked and parked at Campbell Station Park and did not have a spare key inside of it. He advised he has checked with several tow companies to see if the vehicle had been towed.
• On June 28 at around 5:48 p.m., a Woodchase Drive complainant advised KCSO that between May 23 and June 24 an unknown suspect obtained his debit card numbers and made charges in Ohio at various ATMs. The complainant stated he was contacted by his bank on June 24 and was made aware of these charges.
• On June 30 at around midnight, a Spinnaker Road complainant stated to KCSO that between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, June 29, his irrigation system was broken and the valve was broken off and stolen. Water from the irrigation system was running all over the complainant’s front yard of the residence. At this time there are no known suspects. Estimated loss is $300.
• On June 29 at around 11:48 p.m., KCSO responded to a Spring Branch Lane address in reference to a vandalism call. Victim stated that she heard a loud noise at around 11:15 p.m. and was unsure where it came from. The victim stated that she observed large amounts of water pouring out of where her water control valve was supposed to be. The victim stated that the valve was stolen by an unknown person. The victim stated that she did not see anyone around her residence or anywhere near it while she was outside. KCSO responded to the same incident at a Spring Branch Lane and the victim gave similar statements as the previous resident, stating he heard a loud banging sound and when he stepped outside he noticed that his water control valve was missing from his sprinkler system. Estimated loss is $200.
• On June 30 at around 1 a.m., a Inglecrest Lane complainant stated to KCSO that between 8:30 p.m., June 29, and 1 a.m., June 30, his irrigation system was broken and the valve was broken off and stolen. Water from the irrigation system was running all over the complainant’s backyard of the residence. At this time there are no known suspects. Complainant refused to cooperate and give personal information including birthday, Social Security number and or anything that was personal and stated it was not needed information. Estimated loss is $700.
• On June 30 at around 7:23 a.m., a Stone Vista Lane complainant advised KCSO he was informed by a neighbor that his back flow preventer on his sprinkler system had been stolen by an unknown suspect. Estimated loss is $750.
• On June 30 at around 9:52 a.m., an Abners Ridge Drive complainant stated to KCSO that between :01 a.m., June 25, and 6:45 a.m., June 30, an unknown suspect took her irrigation pump. She advised she has been out of town and her neighbor called her to advise that water was coming out of the sprinkler system. She advised she is unsure of the exact date this occurred, but believes it was the night of June 29, due to the neighbors not seeing the water until then. Estimated loss is $500.
• On June 30 at around 10:57 a.m., a Brixworth Boulevard victim stated to KCSO that between midnight and 6:30 a.m. this morning person(s) unknown stole the backflow preventer off their sprinkler system. She said there have been several stolen in their subdivision. Estimated loss is $600.
• On June 30 at around 11:44 a.m., a Woodcliff Drive victim stated to KCSO that at around 11 p.m. last night person(s) unknown stole the backflow preventer off his sprinkler system. This residence is located in Inverness subdivision. Estimated loss is $500.
• On June 30 at around 12:02 p.m., a Raeburn Lane complainant stated to KCSO that between 11 p.m., June 29, and 1 a.m., June 30, an unknown suspect took her back flow cut off valve. She advised the same thing happened to her neighbor and her neighbor did make a report of the incident. Estimated loss is $400.
• On June 30 at around 3:24 p.m., KCSO responded to Costco, 10745 Kingston Pike, Farragut, for a shoplifting call. KCSO came into contact with the manager of the store who stated he witnessed suspect-arrestee place two doorbell camera items in his pants. Complainant also stated he believed that the suspect also stole the same items from their store the day prior. KCSO came into contact with the suspect who appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect stated he had done drugs earlier that day. Suspect was taken into custody. After record check with Knox County LEIDS, it was found the suspect had a outstanding warrant for theft. After the suspect was Mirandized, the suspect stated he did steal two doorbell cameras the day prior and traded them for drugs. The manager priced all four doorbell cameras at $800. This occurred in Farragut.
• On June 30 at 3:54 p.m., KCSO responded to possible shoplifters at Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut. The complainant stated that the suspect had put on a pair of Kohl’s Van shoes and placed his shoes into the empty box and placed the shoe box back onto the shelve. When officers arrived the suspect/arrestee was at a cash register trying to purchase a pair of shoes, jewelry and a jacket totaling $104.85. The transaction was denied because the card that the suspect was using was reported stolen on June 22 to Knoxville Police Department. The suspect was advised that officers were in the store and he then tried to leave. When officers approached the suspect he stated that he did switch the shoes and was going to leave the store without paying. The suspect also had three pairs of Jockey underwear concealed in his jeans. The suspect stated that he knew the card wasn’t his and stated that it was a friend’s grandparent’s card. A records check revealed that the arrestee had a Failure to Appear for driving on suspended license warrant.
• On July 1 at around 3:14 p.m., a Midhurst Drive complainant stated to KCSO that between June 26 and July 1 an unknown suspect took gold coins from his home. The complainant advised he believes the suspect was one of his caretakers who were allowed into the home. The complainant advised the coins were in a locked safety box in a dresser in one of his bedrooms. The complainant was advised to contact Teleserve if more information arises. Estimated loss is $17, 550.
• On July 10 at around 2:59 p.m., a Best Buy, 11491 Parkside Drive, Farragut complainant stated to KCSO that between 2:50 and 2:59 p.m., July 10, an unknown male suspect came into the Best Buy store and took multiple DVDs, CDs and video games. The complainant stated he attempted to stop the suspect, a 6-foot tall, 230-pound white male, but was unable to. The complainant was able to get a vehicle description — gray GMC 1500 pickup truck — and license plate. The complainant was advised to contact Teleserve if more information arises. Estimated loss is $300.
• On July 12 at around 4:46 p.m., a Hughlan Drive complainant advised KCSO that between 2 and 4:46 p.m., July 12, an unknown person took the listed Huffy bicycle that was leaned up against his house. Estimated loss is $100.
• On July 14 at around 10:38 a.m., a Oran Road complainant advised on July 11 when she opened her safety deposit box, which was inside the vault at Regions Bank, 11513 Kingston Pike, Farragut, she found an unknown suspect had stolen coins and certificates — two sets of Ben Franklin coins and silver and gold certificates — and left a $50 bill in the box. She stated both her and the bank have to have their keys to open the box and is uncertain as to how the box was entered as the key is in her possession. Estimated loss is $1,500.
