• On July 18 at around 9:02 p.m., an East Windbrook Drive complainant stated to KCO that between 1 and 9:02 p.m., July 18, the victim has had her vehicle, a black 1995 Honda Civic, stolen from the residence. Complainant (daughter of victim) stated she left the residence around 1 p.m. on July 18 after visiting her mother and the vehicle was still in the driveway. The victim stated to the complainant that an unknown male came in her yard while she was outside and asked her for a cup of water. When the complainant got up to go inside the residence, the unknown suspect then asked for ice so the complainant invited him inside. The victim did not notice her vehicle had been gone until around 9 p.m. on July 18. The victim always has the vehicle keys in the residence hanging on a hook inside the doorway. Complainant stated the keys to the listed vehicle are missing from the residence. Estimated loss is $7,000.

• On July 19 at around 9:28 a.m., a Lanesborough Way complainant advised KCSO that between 9:30 p.m., July 18, and 8:45 a.m., July 19, an unknown suspect took her vehicle, a silver 2012 Audi Q5, which was parked at the residence. She advised she is unsure if the vehicle was locked or unlocked and she is unsure if she left her key fob to start the vehicle inside of it. She advised the vehicle was parked in front of her residence. Estimated loss is about $40,000.

• On July 19 at around 2:17 p.m., a Sweetgum Drive complainant advised KCSO that between Jan. 1 and July 13 his personal information had been used by an unknown suspect(s). Complainant advised he received a letter in the mail from PayPal Credit notifying him that his account has been frozen so no further transactions could be made. Complainant advised he does not have a PayPal account. Advised complainant if he notices any other accounts that have been opened using his information he needed to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to have them added to the report.

• On July 19 at around 4:39 p.m., a Staybridge Suites, 11319 Campbell Lakes Drive, Farragut complainant advised on July 19 she found a fraudulent check had been cashed at Check into Cash with Staybridge Suites account number. She stated she was able to keep the money from being withdrawn from the company account and notified the bank. She advised the suspect had signed his name on the fake check.

• On July 19 at around 6:10 p.m., a Buttonwood Lane complainant advised KCSO that on July 19 she was contacted by First Tennessee bank regarding what appeared to be fraudulent charges on her account. She advised she found an unknown suspect had made a fraudulent card with debit card numbers and used them at the Walgreens at 6920 Maynardville Pike for $196.62 and Walgreens at 7425 Tazewell Pike for $61.36.

• On July 19, 2016, at around 6:07 p.m., KCSO responded to Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut for a shoplifter. Upon officers arrival, the witness advised officers the arrestee, a 39-year-old Asian female, was observed taking Christie B and Bliss cosmetics from the cosmetic department to the juniors fitting area, removed the packaging and concealed the items into her purse. The listed items were valued $99. The arrestee was taken into custody without incident. This did occur in Farragut.

• On July 20 at around 9:50 a.m., a Butternut Lane complainant advised KCSO that between July 1 and July 19 his personal information was used by an unknown suspect(s). Complainant advised he had received several letters from multiple banks in regards to accounts that had been opened and/or applied for using his information. Complainant advised he received a credit card in the mail from Synchrony bank and Capital One bank. Complainant advised he contacted both banks, stating both accounts have been closed and no charges have been made. Complainant advised he received letter from Capital One bank stating they needed additional information for his application and another letter from Comenity Bank notifying him that his application had been rejected. Advised complainant if he notices any other accounts that have been opened using his information he needs to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

• On July 20 at around 11:25 a.m., a Turkey Cove Lane complainant advised KCSO that between 4:45 and 7 p.m., July 19, a package containing face moisturizer was taken by an unknown suspect(s). Complainant advised when she got home she read her e-mail from UPS stating that her package had arrived but when she went outside it was not there. Complainant advised recently there have been several thefts of packages in her neighborhood. Estimated loss is $25.

• On July 20 at around 6:06 p.m., an Old Freewill Road complainant advised KCSO that at 3:13 p.m. his wife received a phone call from their bank stating charges were being made to their company, Cheer Madness Elite, 601 N. Campbell Station Road, Farragut bank account. The complainant stated he still has the card. The complainant advised he believes the suspect made two charges totaling $65.43 and attempted to make a third. Complainant stated the suspect is a former employee of his company.

• On July 20 at around 6:40 p.m., a Glen Willow Drive complainant advised KCSO that she was contacted by her bank, First Tennessee, and advised there had been numerous small checks cashed from their account and believed it was by someone other than her. The complainant advised after she received the call she did notice one of her checkbooks was gone and she believes the listed suspect, a 20-to-25-year-old white female, took it when she had allowed her into the residence to clean. First Tennessee advised the victim the checks the suspect had cashed amounted up to $7,281.

• On July 20 at around 7:56 p.m., a Geyser Lane complainant advised KCSO that between 6:30 p.m., July 19, and 6:30 p.m., July 20, an unknown suspect took the license plate off the vehicle, a silver 2004 GMC Envoy. The complainant stated the vehicle was parked in the driveway. Estimated loss is $60.

• On July 20 at around 8:37 p.m., a Geyser Lane complainant advised KCSO that between 7 p.m., July 19, and 6:35 p.m., July 20, an unknown suspect took the license plates off a blue 2012 Nissan NVP and a black Honda Civic. The complainant stated the vehicles were parked in the driveway. Estimated loss is $120.

• On July 21 at around 6:10 p.m., a Sonja Drive complainant advised KCSO that between 10 p.m., July 20, and 8 a.m., July 21, an unknown suspect gained entry into the vehicles, a blue 2002 Mazda Protégé and a silver Honda CRV, and took the vehicle owner’s manual and registration papers. He advised both vehicles were unlocked and parked in the driveway. Estimated loss is $100.

• On July 21 at around 6:52 p.m., an East Leeward Lane complainant advised KCSO that at 5:24 p.m., July 21, he was leaving Kroger Marketplace, 189 Brooklawn St., Farragut, when he accidentally left his iPhone in the shopping cart and exited the store. The complainant advised once he reached his vehicle he remembered he had left his phone behind and returned into the store to attempt to locate it. The complainant advised he searched through each shopping cart in the front of the store and walked around the store numerous times to try to find it. The complainant advised he then went home and activated the “find my iPhone” app on his wife’s phone and was given an exact location in Loudon County where the phone was located. Loudon County Sheriff’s Office advised the complainant to make a report through KCSO. Estima-ted loss is $600.
