• On Nov. 4 at around 1:52 p.m., a Cadbury Drive victim stated to Knox County Sheriff’s Office that between 9 and 11 a.m., Oct. 20, the suspect, a 28-year-old white male, who was an employee at that time, stole a Porter Cable router, a Makita handheld planer and a Dewalt radio, battery and charger from the tool trailer. According to the victim he fired the suspect that day over an unrelated matter. The victim advised this occurred on a job site off Broadwood Drive where they were building a deck. The victim said he called the suspect who confessed to taking the tools. According to the victim the suspect told him he would return the tools yesterday but never did. He said now the suspects phone is no longer in service. Estimated loss is $500.
• On Nov. 5, 2016, at around 4:45 a.m., KCSO responded to burglary at Farragut Market, 11104 Kingston. Upon arrival KCSO officers learned from surveillance video two unknown suspects forced their way into the business through a front door and took an unknown amount of cigarettes. The video also showed the suspects were in an older model white town car. X-Ray tech responded to and processed the scene. Estimated loss is $1,000.
• On Nov. 6 at around 8:26 a.m., a Belle Grove Road complainant advised KCSO that on Nov. 5 his girlfriend, a 45-year-old white female, took his debit card, phone and vehicle, a black 2013 Ford Raptor pickup truck, during the night. Complainant stated his girlfriend never has been allowed to drive the vehicle. The complainant said his girlfriend has bipolar disorder and believes she is driving to Little Rock, Ark., where her family lives. Copy sent to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss is $40,400.
• On Nov. 7 at around 8:23 a.m., a Kenjo Market, 709 N. Campbell Station Road, Farragut, complainant advised KCSO that between 8:05 and 8:20 a.m. an unknown suspect took money. He advised he was in a office counting the money and had to leave it unattended while he helped a few customers. He advised after he helped the customers he went back to the office and the money was missing. He advised he was the only employee there at the time of the incident. Estimated loss is $1,800.
• On Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at around 11:20 a.m., KCSO officers were dispatched to Kohl’s department store at 11530 Kingston Pike in Farragut in reference to someone shoplifting. KCSO made contact with Loss Prevention employee (witness/other) and she told officers she observed the arrestee, a 26-year-old white female, take multiple shoe boxes and two pair of pants into the dressing room. The witness told officers when she observed the arrestee leave the dressing room she had none of the items with her. The witness said she entered the dressing room and observed all the boxes sitting empty on the bench. The items were located in a diaper bag that the arrestee had in her possession while attempting to exit the store with all items valued at $222.97. The arrestee walked past all open and operating check out registers, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. The arrestee was taken into custody and transported to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility. This occurred in Farragut.
• On Nov. 15, 2016, at around 12:58 p.m., Oak Ridge Police responded to an East Holston Lane address after reports of a shooting were called into the emergency communications center. Multiple units responded and were on scene immediately where it was determined a shooting had occurred. A short while later, a sole victim of the shooting was treated at the Methodist Medical Center Emergency Room for gunshot injuries. Officers on scene determined the suspect in the shooting fled the residence and may have been in the area. A containment perimeter was established and officers initiated a search of the area on foot. At around 2:09 p.m., two persons, one of which is believed to be the suspect in the shooting, were detained and transported to ORPD Headquar-ters. During this incident, a level II lockdown of Oak Ridge High School was implemented by Oak Ridge Schools. After both suspects were in custody, this lockdown was lifted; at no time does ORPD believe ORHS students or staff were in any danger.
• On Nov. 15, 2016, at around 11:01 a.m., KCSO responded to Kohl’s department strore, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut for a possible shoplifter. Upon arrival KCSO made contact with the witness/loss prevention officer. The arrestee, a 34-year-old white female, was asked to step to the office where it was found that she had $372.98 dollars worth of merchandise that she stole from the store. The arrestee was transported to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility. This occurred in Farragut.
• On Nov. 16 at around 3:22 p.m., a Paris Road complainant advised KCSO that on Nov. 16 the suspect, a 25-to-28-year-old white female, took the listed vehicle, a 1998 Ford F-150, from a McFee Road address. The complainant stated the suspect is his girlfriend, but the victim’s friend. The complainant advised the victim does not speak very good English, so he translated for the victim. The complainant stated the suspect was given the key to the vehicle so she could start the vehicle, but the suspect drove off with the vehicle. The complainant was advised to contact Teleserve if more information arises. Copy sent to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss is about $3,500.
• On Nov. 17 at around 12:35 p.m., a Kroger Marketplace complainant stated to KCSO the suspects, a 37-year-old black male and a 40-to-45-year-old white male, entered the Kroger store off Brooklawn Street in Farragut on Nov. 6 at 5:27 a.m. and exited at 5:42 a.m. without paying for three Ninja blenders, four bags of Tidy Cat liter, Keurig coffeemaker, four tote bags, five containers of Tide detergent and one container of Gain detergent. According to the complainant they recognized black male suspect who has shoplifted from their store before. She did not know the identity of the white male who was with him. Estimated loss is about $610.67.
• On Nov. 17 at around 12:37 p.m., a Kroger Marketplace complainant stated on Nov. 7 the suspects, a 17-year-old black male and a 40-to-45-year-old black male, entered the Kroger at 4:40 a.m. and exited at 4:49 a.m. without paying for a large Ninja blender, blue totes and a bag of Tidy Cat liter. According to the complainant they are very familiar with the younger black male suspect as he has shoplifted from their store on other occasions. The complainant does not know the identity of the second black male. Estimated loss is $244.57.
• On Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at around 3:01 p.m., KCSO officers were dispatched to Belk department store, 11397 Parkside Drive, Farragut, in reference to someone shoplifting. A KCSO officer made contact with the arrestee, a 43-year-old white male, and he admitted to taking multiple items of clothing and putting them in his bag. A witness told KCSO that he observed the arrestee and a 24-year-old white female arrestee take clothes off the shelf and conceal them in a bag. The arrestees walked past all opened and operating cash registers and attempted to exit the store without paying for the items ($315.95 in value) in the bag. A NCIC check revealed that the male had a FTA for $500 appearance bond. The arrestees were transported to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility. This occurred in Farragut.
• On Nov. 19 at around 7:39 p.m., a Belk department store complainant notified KCSO officers that the listed suspect, a 43-year-old white female, had concealed Under Armour clothing, Perm jewelry, Fossil purse, Steve Madd sunglasses and other items on her person and exited the store without paying for the merchandise, which was valued at $786. The suspect admitted to taking the items without the consent of the business.
• On Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at around 12:18 p.m., KCSO officers responded to Kohl’s department store at 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut, to a report of a theft. A victim/witness with Kohl’s Loss Prevention stated that she observed the arrestee, a 35-year-old white female, concealing several items attempting to leave the store. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect in the parking lot and were able to recover the property. It was confirmed that the suspect had been trespassed from the store prior to today’s incident. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the detention facility for burglary. The items were returned to the store that totaled out to $195.
• On Nov. 30 at around 12:19 p.m., a Pine Meadows Lane complainant came to Farragut High School, 11237 Kingston Pike, Farragut, to report to KCSO that his son’s car keys were stolen and used to enter the 2003 Honda Accord and take a Nike athletic bag, goggles and towels on Nov. 29. There are no known suspect(s). Also, there are no witnesses or security cameras that view the parking lot. Estimated loss was $120.
• On Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at around 6:38 p.m., KCSO responded to Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut, in regards to a theft. Upon arrival, complainant stated that she did witness arrestee, a 52-year-old female of unknown race, remove a ring from its packaging and place the ring in her pocket. Complainant further stated that the arrestee did pass all points of purchase without paying for the merchandise. The woman was taken into custody. Kohl’s did take possession of the ring. Estimated loss is $60.
• On Dec. 1 at around 5:22 p.m., KCSO responded to Walmart, 10900 Parkside Drive, for a theft by shoplifting. Complainant reported that he observed the suspect, a 40-year-old white make, take merchandise and then suspect exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. Suspect fled in suspect vehicle, a white Ford USIC utility pickup truck with Texas license plate. Suspect was stopped by another KCSO officer at Walmart, 8445 Walbrook Drive, at around 5:44 p.m. Merchandise, two rifle tripods, was recovered from the suspect’s front seat. The merchandise total was $84.94, which is a Class A misdemeanor. Suspect was arrested.
• On Dec. 3, 2016, at around 9:34 a.m., KCSO responded to America’s Best Value Inn, 11717 Campbell Lakes Drive, Farragut, on the report of a theft. Complainant stated that three cameras and part of the ice machine had been stolen. Complainant has video evidence of the theft and played it back for officers. A 25-year-old white female admitted to being in the vehicle captured on video, but said that she was unaware of where the stolen items came from. She stated that the suspect, a 28-to-34-year-old white male, in the video and owner of the vehicle was someone she met through a mutual friend. She stated that she thinks she knows the suspect’s first name. Estimated loss is unknown.
• On Dec. 1 at around 10:43 p.m., a Fort West Drive complainant advised KCSO that between 6 and 10:43 p.m. he agreed to let a white female suspect borrow the car to run some errands as long as she brought it back today. Complainant stated when she left with the listed vehicle, a 2011 Toyota Scion, he noticed all his keys missing to his other vehicles in his possession. Complainant stated she would not respond to his messages. Estimated loss is $21,000.
