• On March 9 a Towne Road victim/complainant advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office that an unknown suspect took her vehicle, a Hyundai Azera valued at $15,000, sometime between 10 p.m., March 8, and 7 a.m., March 9. She advised the vehicle was left unlocked, parked in the driveway and the keys inside of it.
• On March 8 at approximately 9:45 p.m., a KCSO unit responded to Exxon/Kenjo convenience store, 709 N. Campbell Station Road, for theft of a vehicle in progress. Upon officer’s arrival he observed the suspect in the victim's vehicle, a white 2012 Toyota Prius. It appeared the vehicle was running and the suspect was attempting to find the gearshift, but was unable to locate it. I asked the suspect what he was doing and he stated he hated new vehicles. Officer then asked the suspect if the vehicle was his and suspect stated it was not his. Suspect was detained. A victim/witness and witness reported the victim drove up to the gas pumps and turned the vehicle off. Upon the victim exiting his vehicle, the suspect charged the victim in a threatening manner scaring the victim. The suspect then entered the victim's vehicle and started it. The victim then asked the witness to call 911. Suspect was arrested. Victim/vehicle owner was notified of the incident. The vehicle was released back to the victim.
• On March 7, a Sonja Drive victim/complainant advised that he discovered an unknown suspect had stolen the company vehicle, a Ford F-150 pick-up truck valued at $25,000, from his driveway at his residence sometime between 10 p.m., March 6, and 6 a.m., March 7. He stated the doors to the vehicle had been left unlocked and the keys were in the cup holder on the center console
• On Feb. 27 around 1:43 p.m., a KCSO unit responded to a Farragut Hills Boulevard residence. Victim stated between 8 and 8:30 p.m., Feb. 26, her First Tennessee Visa debit card was stolen. She said person(s) unknown began using her card around 8:30 p.m. that night.
