• Dr. Lisa M. Bowling has joined Summit Medical Group

as a physician with Summit Medical Associates in West Kno-xville and currently is accepting new pat-ients. Before joining Summit Medical

Group, she practiced at The University of Tennessee Medical Center.

• Pershing Yoakley & Associates, a national healthcare consulting and accounting firm, will host “A Community Approach to Antibiotic Resistance,” an educational workshop on antibiotic resistance. The workshop, being held in collaboration with HealthCare 21 Business Coalition, will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 23, in Tennova’s Turkey Creek Medical Center, 10820 Parkside Drive.
