Deeson a state Scholar Athlete Team honoree
Golf Coaches Association of Tennessee recently announced its newly-named Scholar Athlete Team.
Mitchell Deeson of Christian Academy of Knoxville, a junior, is one of 21 high school juniors and seniors statewide on the GCAT Team who meet the requirements, which include an overall grade-point average of 3.7 or higher, earning a letter this past golf season and displaying high moral character.
A CAK Student Admissions Ambassador and a member of National Honor Society, Deeson also is a member of the Youth Leadership Knoxville Class of 2018, and a member of the Warriors varsity basketball team.
