CAK trio earn TN Gov School program nod
Three Christian Academy of Knoxville students recently were selected to participate in one of the Tennessee Governor’s Schools programs occurring this summer at a variety of universities across Tennessee.
Aaron Frazer, a sophomore at CAK, has been selected to attend the Tennessee Governor’s School for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Eli Oaks, a junior at CAK, has been selected to attend the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Humanities.
Thomas Patterson, a junior at CAK, has been selected to attend the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Sciences and Engineering
GSSE provides advanced study in the sciences, mathematics and engineering.
According to the GSSE website, students accepted into this program are expected “to display very high standards of scholarship, desire for learning, reliability, and deportment.” Paterson will attend the GSSE at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville from June 3 through June 30, 2018.
