• At 2:42 a.m., Friday, April 20, Knox County Sheriff’s Office units responded to 10551 Kingston Pike on report of a business burglary at M & M Jewelry. Caller said he observed an unknown black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, exit through the broken front door at the business and flee west through the parking lot toward Lovell Road. Upon arrival, reporting officer said he observed the glass had been broken out of the business and several showcases inside the business had been broken. The owner responded and said it appeared nothing had been taken. Estimated value of damage was listed at $1,000.

• At 11:17 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, a W. Kingsgate Road victim called KCSO North Precinct to report an incident, which occurred at 12012 W. Kingsgate Road. According to the victim between 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, and 11 a.m., April 18, person(s) unknown stole the passenger-side front and rear tires, wheels, hubcaps and lug nuts off his 2008 Chevy Impala. The victim said the suspect(s) left the vehicle sitting on the rotors. He said there may be other damage discovered when the vehicle is checked by a mechanic. Estimated value of loss was listed at $500.

• At 8:32 p.m., Friday, April 13, a Breezeway Drive complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft. Complainant said his son, the suspect, had been living with him for about a month, and the complainant had gone out of town from April 10 to April 13. The complainant said he first noticed $35 worth of change missing around noon April 13 and over time keeps finding more items gone, which include a Bushmaster rifle with a listed value of $800. Complainant advised more items may have been stolen. Total value of loss was listed at $915.

• At 2:44 p.m., April 13, a Marble Canyon Trail complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report an incident at a Grigsby Loop Circle residence. Complainant advised she was in the process of moving in November 2017, and had various people in an out of her residence. She thought she would be able to locate her jewelry rings, with an estimated value listed at $19,000, once she started unpacking. She has yet to find them and believes they were stolen when she was in the process of moving.
