Four moms cheer Roach to 4th place, as 29th Knox Open has ‘Choo-Choo’ champ

With strong support from family and friends, including four mothers in his life, Wes Roach celebrated Mother’s Day at 29th Annual Knoxville Open by finishing tied for fourth (11-under par 273) Sunday afternoon, May 13, at Fox Den Country Club. A sizzling round of 63 (8-under par) Saturday, May 12, highlighted the four rounds for this former PGA Tour pro and golf state champion at Webb School of Knoxville (Class of 2007), who claims Willow Creek Golf Club in Farragut as his home course.
