Seven bands, 28 merchants set for Red White & Blues Jam

Second Annual Red White and Blues Jam at West End presented by SouthEast Bank returns to West End Shopping Center (West End Avenue, just south of Farragut High School and Farragut Middle School) from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 7.

Event is free and open to the public.

Seven bands will play in roughly one-hour rotating blocks: 3 p.m., Terraplane Drifters; 4 p.m., Doug and Mike; 5 p.m., Luke Pennington Trio; 6:15 p.m., Smokin’ Section; 7:30 p.m., Mighty Blue; 8:45 p.m., Mystic Rhythm Tribe; and 9:30 p.m., Jam.

“Farragut merchants will move outside and into the parking lot along West End Avenue. Special discounts, attractions and giveaways will highlight the day as patron’s shop, dine, enjoy an adult beverage or just enjoy the live music under the large festival tent,” a Shop Farragut/Farragut Business Alliance press release stated.

Participating merchants include Clean Eatz, McEntire & Mays, Farmers Insurance, Exit Realty, 9 Round Kickboxing, Edward Jones Investments, Goodwill, Heidi’s Gym, Aurora Pools & Spa; Echelon Bikes; Buddy’s Bar-B-Q; Fruition Café, The DW Designs, Studio 135, West End Art & Antiques, George Paris Company and Don Delphis Pancake & Restaurant.

Other participating merchants are West End Barber Shop, Dance Center West, Lillian Pearl Designs, Paparazzi, Sweets by Jocelyn, Beauty Counter, Mario’s Pizza & Grill, Elite Building Products, DM Designs, Vietgrill and Spine & Sport Physical Therapy.
