Former Farragut vice mayor lists series of accolades in choosing her mayoral preference
From July 13-28 (early voting) and on Aug. 2, you will have the opportunity to vote for a new mayor of Farragut. I am endorsing (Alderman) Ron Williams for this position.
I have known Ron for many years and together we served on the Sugarwood Homeowners Association Board. Ron has served our community well as an alderman and will continue to do so as mayor.
He is a man of integrity, an effective leader and dedicated to keeping Farragut as “a great place to live, work and play.”
Being retired, Ron is able to be involved in all mayoral duties and responsibilities. Since becoming an alderman, he has been steadfast in continuing education and in attending all specific committee meetings, which have prepared him well for this office.
He is currently serving his second term on the Board of Zoning Appeals and was recently named to the position of vice chairman of that board. Ron will bring his extensive knowledge of planning and zoning to the mayor’s office and is committed to smart growth.
Ron Williams is “The Voice of Citizens” and is committed to maintaining a citizen-driven government. He is also dedicated to quality growth that maintains Farragut’s residential nature, and very important is his commitment to keep Farragut financially sound with conservative solutions.
I am asking for your vote for Ron Williams as mayor.
Mary Dorothy “Dot” LaMarche
Farragut
Retired vice mayor of Farragut
