Mull invited to prestigious Tennessee Arts Academy
Daniel Mull, director of bands at Christian Academy of Knoxville, has been selected to attend the prestigious 2018 Tennessee Arts Academy.
The Academy, the nation’s premier summer teacher training institute for arts education, began its week-long professional development session Sunday, July 8, on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville.
More than 300 kindergarten-through 12th-grade public and private school teachers from across Tennessee were selected to attend.
This year the Academy’s nationally and internationally renowned instructors come from across the United States.
They are teaching a diverse range of classes in music, theatre, visual art and dance, and special classes in arts leadership, administration and assessment.
A program of Tennessee Department of Education, the Academy has been held annually since 1987.
