• At 5:09 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, a Knox County Sheriff’s Office unit responded to Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, in reference to shoplifting. Complainant said he observed suspect/arrestee conceal several Nike clothing items on her person after paying for other items from the store. She said suspect/arrestee attempted to exit the store through the men’s department when he apprehended her. Suspect/arrestee was issued a misdemeanor citation due to not having any prior criminal history.

• At 12:59 p.m., July 11, a Federal Drive victim called KCSO North Precinct to report an incident at his residence. According to the victim, between midnight and 12:40 a.m. the rear windshield of his 2016 Honda Odyssey was smashed in two places. Value of damage was listed at $600. Vehicle was parked in driveway.

• At 2:35 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, KCSO units responded to a Lake Park Circle address on report of a theft. The victim said on Saturday, June 30, she discovered two rings, a set of diamond earrings, and an unknown amount of U.S. currency was missing from her Browning safe. Estimated value of loss was listed at $12,000. The safe did not appear to be forced open. Victim believes the suspect to be her granddaughter’s boyfriend.

• At 11:30 a.m., July 10, a Golden Harvest Road complainant called KCSO West Precinct to a report an incident at his residence. She advised she saw several teenagers at the end of her subdivision early that morning. Her husband called her while she was at work to advise their driveway was spray painted with white and black paint. She said it was more than 4-feet wide. No damage dollar value was listed.

• At 3:11 p.m., Sunday, July 8, a Southwick Circle complainant called KCSO to report a vandalism at his residence. Complainant advised between 1 and 2 a.m., someone vandalized his mailbox with peanut butter, cheese and toilet paper. Complainant reported he suspects this incident is related to another report with his daughter, whose Jeep was vandalized at the same time with the same products. He reported there was no damage to the mailbox.
