• Lipsey Morrison Attorneys changed its name from Stone & Hinds, P.C. May 1, to reflect the firm’s current leadership. Steven Lipsey, Eric Morrison, Charles Waller and David Lipsey are the shareholders of Lipsey Morrison Attorneys.
• Renee McDermott, special agent in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in East Tennessee, has been promoted to deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Training Division at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. McDermott has served as head of Knoxville’s field office since November 2016. She was the first female ever to lead the field office.
• Luke Romans has been appointed vice president/business banking officer of HomeTrust Bank in Bearden. He will be expanding business relationships in the Greater Knoxville area.
• Broker Kip Kirby has joined the team of Weichert, Realtors – Advantage Plus in Knoxville. Kirby, who brings almost 30 years of real estate experience to the firm, will assist property buyers and sellers with all of their real estate needs.
• Dr. Lori Staudenmaier has joined Concord Medical Center, a Summit Medical Group practice in Farragut, and is accepting new patients. Staudenmaier is certified by American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians. Before joining Summit Medical Group, she was with University of Tennessee Family Physicians in Lafollette.
• Stacy Flick Colbaugh, an in-house technical specialist with Lewis Group Architects, has achieved architectural license. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Architecture and joined the Lewis Group in 2004.
• Teresa Macon has joined Weichert, Realtors – Advantage Plus in Knoxville. She has a 33-year career with University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she specialized in financial software before obtaining her real estate license. She also graduated from UT with a degree in music education.
• Steve Wilson has joined Swift Industrial Power as the company’s controller. He brings more than 27 years of experience in the financial industry to his new role, in which he will oversee and guide the company’s financial operations.
• Michael LeMarbre, an associate financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, has transferred to the firm’s Knoxville branch and is joining the Faerber Carter Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He formerly was with Raymond James. LeMarbre graduated from Tennessee Tech University with degrees in accounting and marketing and has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. LeMarbre lives in Knoxville with his wife and their four children.
• RE/MAX Preferred Properties announced Thursday, Aug. 9, that real estate agent Holly Patterson has joined the franchise. Patterson brings more than 10 years of housing and sales experience, having earned the title of licensed Realtor. Patterson also is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors and Knoxville Area Association of Realtors.
• Jacob Cook has joined EXIT Real Estate Professionals Network office, 165 West End Ave., Farragut, while Alex Gonzalez and LaKesha Toney have joined EXIT Key Realty, 6216 Lonas Drive, Knoxville.
