Center input sought
The public is invited to share programming ideas for Farragut’s new community center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd., during a public meeting beginning at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20, in Farragut Town Hall.
For those who can’t attend the meeting, an online survey will be available Thursday, Aug. 16, through Sunday, Aug. 26, on the Town’s website, townoffarragut.org/.
The future community center is said to have “ample classroom space, a gymnasium and a commercial kitchen, and the former sanctuary will be a rental space,” a Town press release stated.
“The building won’t be available for public use until the completion of renovations, which could take up to a year.”
