Lady Ads Cherney, Bower, HVA’s Smithson All-3-AAA
Sydney Cherney, senior outside hitter, led the way among Farragut High School volleyball players earning regular season awards, with fellow senior Caroline Bower, also an outside hitter, close behind.
Both earned First Team All-District 3-AAA honors, joined by Hardin Valley Academy’s Morgan Smithson.
Cherney was one of seven Senior Scholar Athletes from District 3-AAA, joined by Hardin Valley’s Savannah Bowen.
Among the district’s Outstanding Awards, Cherney was named Top Defender while Bower was named 3-AAA’s Top Hitter. Smithson earned Top Server honors.
Second-Team honors went to Madeline Horn of Farragut and Drew Brooks of Hardin Valley. Lady Admiral Maddie McLemore and Lady Hawk Courtney Coffy earned Honorable Mention All-3-AAA.
