National gold medals for Dowhos-O’Gorman, Nealon
Dowhos-O’Gorman (right in top photo) earned gold in women’s C quad with Nealon (left), an architect at R2R Studio who took up rowing just 15 months ago, Nancy Schay (second from left), who led all gold medalist with five, and Lizabeth Theiss (beside Dowhos-O’Gorman).
The Webb official also earned gold in Women’s F double with Schay (photo top) and in Women’s D double with Theiss.
Nealon also recorded second pace in the Women’s A single, and a pair of thirds with Dowhos-O’Gorman in the Women’s B double and with Ryan Worth in Mixed A double.
Dowhos-O’Gorman also placed third in Women’s D quad with Schay, Theiss and Laura Imperial; fourth in Women’s E single; fifth in a Mixed E quad with rowers from other clubs; and sixth in a Mixed C quad with Mike Schay, Jim Rogers and Nealon.
