Town ‘Lady Lions Day’ celebrated Nov. 14
In recognition of Concord Christian School’s Division II-A state runner-up finish in high school volleyball, Town of Farragut Board of Mayor and Alderman declared Wednesday Nov. 14, as “Lady Lions Volleyball Day” in the Town of Farragut.
Alderman Scott J. Meyer (North Ward), who has a daughter on the team, released the following statement before the ceremony: “The Honorable Mayor Ron Williams and I would be privileged to present the Town Proclamation that resolves this declaration to your school at an assembly on Wednesday Nov. 14, 2018, at 10:30 a.m.
“Congratulations to the CCS Lady Lions and (head) coach (Carmen) Hochevar and (assistant Walter) Brock on their remarkable season. The Town of Farragut could not be prouder.”
