Carolers and musicians heralded in the Christmas season much to the delight of hundreds, as parents, toddlers and teenagers braved the overcast 34-degree weather. Guests also enjoyed various vendor treats, including free hot chocolate courtesy of event co-sponsors Town of Farragut and Farragut Business
Culminating the evening was the actual park lighting, conducted jointly by Farragut Mayor Ron Williams and Santa Claus. They flipped the switch to illuminate more than 68,000 twinkling lights throughout the park, which will remain lit each night until 10 p.m. through Tuesday, Jan. 1.
