• At 12:50 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, a complainant at Vision Best Eyecare, 11663 Parkside Drive, called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report shoplifting. Complainant said an unknown subject had just grabbed two pair of sunglasses and left the store without paying for them. Estimated value of loss was listed at $400.
• At 3:02 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, a Hickory Woods Road complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report on an incident at his residence. Complainant advised he left his garage door open and his 2014 Mercedez Benz C350 parked inside and unlocked. A firearm, a 33 Glock handgun, was taken from the trunk of his vehicle. Estimated value of loss was listed at $500. He advised no damage was done to his vehicle.
• At 5:39 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, two KCSO units responded to Kroger, 189 Brooklawn St., to investigate a shoplifting. A witness/complainant in loss prevention observed the suspect/arrestee conceal $18.98 worth of merchandise into a bag. She then exited the store without attempting to pay for those items. Arrestee was issued a misdemeanor citation for shoplifting and issued a trespass warning.
• At 7:34 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, a Fox Hunters Road complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report an incident at NHC Rehabilitation facility, 122 Cavette Hill Lane. Complainant advised her 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe was broken into through the driver side back window. A wallet that included $43 in cash was believed to be in the console or on the passenger seat. Total value of loss was listed at $48. At time of report there were no known suspects.
