• I’m calling because the recent election brought to my attention how many Republican candidates claim endorsements for both Tennessee Right to Life and the NRA. I’d like to point out that the NRA advocates against simple, common sense gun legislation that could prevent many murders, accidental deaths and suicides without harming Second Amendment rights. (Inaudible) School children, concertgoers and multitudes of other Americans don’t deserve protection? And the people who make this argument against government regulation over weapons, at the same time, want the government to regulate what women can decide about their own healthcare. And I really believe that these people are not truly pro-life.
