• I wish Farragut would initiate a program to recycle the hundreds of thousands of bags of leaves that are put on the curb to be dumped in the landfills. Other communities implement programs as a community responsibility and raise revenue by reselling composted yard material. We live in a beautiful community at the expense of our waste being dumped elsewhere. Little is done in Farragut to promote recycling. We are a better community than this.
• Has our Farragut School Board member (Susan Horn) ever called the bullied boy (supposed reference to a student in a Farragut public school) to hear his story or talk to his parents? Has our (Knox County Schools) superintendent (Bob Thomas) ever asked questions of the allegations? It all sounds like a cover-up. Just wait it out until the next student commits suicide or until the next student has the guts to come forward with what’s happening. We moved to Farragut for the good schools. And here, what a wake-up call. We made a mistake.
