Knox Valley Dental opening, across from Ingles, set for fall
Site work for Knox Valley Dental is under way at the corner of Chaho Road and 11852 Kingston Pike across from Ingles.
“They are putting the drainage in now,” Farragut Mayor Ron Williams said Monday, April 22. “It’s the second dentist office we’ll have.”
With construction progressing, the general contractor, Creative Structures Inc., expects the project to be completed by the end of October, said Christina Maelzer of CSI.
The developing group Oliver Smith Realty will have an 8,619-square-foot brick, stone and glass office building on the 1.37-acre lot. The parking lot, with 40 proposed spaces, will be to the south of the property.
The group plans to have a dentist office on the east side of the building (left side facing Kingston Pike) and rent out the other side.
Farragut Municipal Planning Commission approved plans for the location and proposed office building during its meeting May 17, 2018.
However, “It’s been a difficult project. They had to make a lot of revisions,” said Bart Hose, Town of Farragut Community Development assistant director.
