• At 8:41 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, an Oakhill Drive complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report an incident from a Municipal Center Drive address. He advised around 1:30 p.m. that day, his wife accidentally left her iPhone on the trunk of the vehicle and left the area. He advised they have been tracking the phone through an application and last tracked it in the Halls area. Value of the phone was listed at $800. Complainant was advised to call if serial numbers located.
• At 2:10 p.m., April 23, a Prince Street complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report an incident at Weigels, 610 N. Campbell Station Road. Complainant advised around 1:30 p.m. that day she discovered an unknown suspect had entered her 2018 Jeep Wrangler and stolen her purse. She advised the doors to the vehicle had been left unlocked and no damage was done. Total value of loss was listed at $295, which included a $200 LG smartphone. Complainant was advised to call back if serial numbers for the phone were located.
• At 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 20, a Ferret Road complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report an incident at his residence. Complainant advised between 11 p.m., Friday, April 19, and 1:15 p.m., April 20, his unlocked 2014 Nissan Altima was stolen from his driveway. Complainant said he left the keys inside the console prior to this incident. He advised no one has permission to borrow the vehicle. At the time of this report there were no known suspects.
• At 4:51 p.m., Thursday, April 19, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft from Weigel’s, 12001 Kingston Pike. Complainant advised around 4:30 p.m. that day the suspect went to the gas pump and filled her vehicle with 19.7 gallons of gasoline ($62.25). After the suspect filled her vehicle, she left the business without paying for the gasoline. Complainant advised the business has had previous issues with this suspect stealing gasoline.
