• At 2:28 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a stolen vehicle from U-Haul, 10833 Kingston Pike — a 2018 Chevrolet Express Cargo with a value listed at $30,000. Complainant advised around 12:20 p.m., March 10, the suspect came into the store and rented the vehicle. Suspect was given a date and time deadline to return the vehicle, which was 12:10 p.m., March 25, but the vehicle was not returned. Complainant said he called other U-Haul locations to make sure it had not been returned anywhere else, which it had not been. Complainant advised the suspect was required to give information on himself before he could rent the vehicle. (See similar report in next listing)

Complainant advised at 9:56 a.m., Feb. 21, the suspect came into the store and rented the listed vehicle — a Ford Transit Van with a value listed at $30,000. Suspect was given a date and time deadline to return the vehicle, which was 10 a.m., March 1, but the vehicle was not returned. Complainant said he called other U-Haul facilities to make sure it had not been returned anywhere else, which it had not been. Complainant advised the suspect was required to give information on himself before he could rent the vehicle.
