With live reading of ‘Gingerbread Man,’ St. John Neumann students entertain Morning Pointe of Lenoir City residents

Morning Pointe of Lenoir City residents Audrey Stier and Helen James say goodbye to their guests from St. John Neumann Catholic School in Farragut during a recent visit. A flock of students from grades kindergarten through fourth performed a live reading of “The Gingerbread Man” for the residents of the assisted living community.

“The residents love it when we have these intergenerational experiences. They really enjoy interacting with the children, and the children seem to enjoy it as well,” life enrichment director Camie Entrekin said. “The students of St. John Neumann have adopted the Morning Pointe of Lenoir City campus as part of a service project and visit us throughout the year. We are so thankful for our partnership with the school and always look forward to seeing the students.”
