• Angela A. Cooper of Farragut has been hired as a receptionist for The Trust Company of Tennessee’s Knoxville headquarters. She brings with her prior client-focused experience in sales, event planning and office management. Cooper earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
• Steve Langlais has been named president of Sea Ray Boats, a unit of Brunswick Corporation. He is succeeding Brad Anderson, who has chosen to pursue opportunities outside the company.
Langlais, currently president of the Fort Wayne operations for Brunswick, will continue to report to Brunswick Boat Group president Huw Bower.
• Jim Ayres, FirstBank executive chairman of the board, was formally inducted into the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans during recent ceremonies honoring the achievements of 13 prominent Americans.
