Program explores healthcare careers at Tennova for area high school juniors, seniors
Tennova Healthcare’s Turkey Creek Medical Center M.A.S.H. Program is designed to give Farragut-area high school students (rising juniors and seniors for the 2019-20 school year) “an opportunity to explore the many different careers in healthcare,” a Tennova press release stated.
During this program, which runs for two weeks beginning at 9 a.m. to around 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 17-28, “Students will complete certification in CPR. Exposure to different areas of medicine and health-related professions is an integral part of the M.A.S.H. experience,” the release further stated. Program will include “lectures, tours, labs, and hands-on challenges.
“… Students will keep a daily journal where they will record their daily experiences and thoughts. These will be reviewed when the students graduate on June 28.”
A $30 fee is required for the program, which is due before June 17. Class is limited to the first 25 accepted applicants.
