‘We are flexible’
For tenants in new Renaissance office building
Myers Bros. Holdings Inc. is constructing the office building on the 1.341-acre lot at 12802 Kingston Pike, beside Renaissance | Farragut, which it also developed.
They poured the footers the first week of August, said R. Knick Myers, partner and officer with Myers Bros. Holdings, CornerStone Realty Associates, LLC., and CornerStone Construction
He expects it to be completed in 90 days with a target opening date of Nov. 1.
However, Myers added, “If the amount of rain we have had this year is an indication of rain we will continue to receive,” then there could be delays.
The building will accommodate two leasing spaces.
“One space is approximately 2,900 square feet and the other is approximately 1,500 square feet,” he said.
While the structure’s interior is typical of most office buildings, Myers said, “We are using spray foam insulation that is very energy-efficient and does a wonderful job to deaden sound.”
As far as tenants, he said, “We are flexible.”
Still, Myers noted, “We are seeking tenants whom are complementary to our Renaissance | Farragut family.
“We do have one tenant, whom we are legally bound to not name, and we have had several prospective tenants for the 1,500-square-foot space; however, they have not committed at this time,” he added.
“We think they are waiting a bit to see the building built.”
