Sketchers to open TC store
Skechers, a Manhattan Beach, California-based company, plans to open its first Knoxville location in the Pinnacle at Turkey Creek shopping center.
The performance- and lifestyle-focused footwear company’s 8,633-square-foot store will be located near World Market and Ulta Beauty with a projected opening later this year, according to Ashley Slimp, Pinnacle at Turkey Creek marketing coordinator.
“As an award-winning global brand, Skechers is a valuable addition to our center, and we look forward to welcoming them to Knoxville,” said Darryl Whitehead, general manager of Pinnacle at Turkey Creek. “We strive to offer a diversity of high-demand products and stores and know Skechers will be a fantastic addition to the Pinnacle.”
“We are excited to launch our first Knoxville location in the Pinnacle at Turkey Creek shopping center and share the city’s enthusiasm for this new store,” said Greg Turrel, real estate manager at Skechers.
“We look forward to introducing our lifestyle and athletic footwear to residents and know we will develop deep roots in the Knoxville community,” he added.
The Pinnacle location will be the first in the Knoxville area and the eighth in Tennessee, Slimp said, adding an official grand opening date will be announced later this year.
