Spencer, Rhodus earn Certified PRP credentials

Two members of the Town of Farragut Parks & Recreation Department have earned Certified Parks and Recreation Professional credentials.

Special Event and Program coordinator Brittany Spencer passed her certification exam in October, while Parks operator Ryan Rhodus passed the exam in November.

The Certified Parks and Recreation Professional certification is the national standard for all parks and recreation professionals who want to be at the forefront of their profession. The certification program is administered through the National Recreation and Parks Association.

“We are very proud of our two Parks & Rec staff members who join two others who have this certification,” said Sue Stuhl, Parks & Recreation director. “Having certified professionals is a great measure of the overall quality of a parks and recreation department.”
