PureMagic HWWW champs: CAK seniors claim ‘the hat’

Presenting a $1,000 check and the Stetson hat trophy to Christian Academy of Knoxville’s high school football seniors and head coach Travis Mozingo on behalf of the entire team, Chris Peters, PureMagic Carwash Sales & Marketing manager, extended his congratulations. Mozingo’s 2019 Warriors won farragutpress’ 12th Annual How the West Was Won presented by PureMagic Carwash contest for best regular season record (8-2) among six Farragut area schools.

These honors were presented during CAK’s football banquet Wednesday evening, Dec. 4, in the school’s Commons. In a short address to the gathering, Peters said PureMagic owner/founder Jim Rooney and staff “have deep roots in this community” concerning their motivation to annually sponsor the HWWW contest. Accepting the trophy are CAK’s five seniors: from left are Pate Eldridge, Zander Tonkin, Cole Howell, Gabel Fulford and Max Smith.
