Spartans rule CAK
KNOXVILLE — If one word best describes Webb School of Knoxville’s boys hoops, it is “unselfish.”
The Spartans’ brand of play was on display Friday night, Jan. 10, routing rival Christian Academy of Knoxville 91-57 at CAK.
Lucas Walls’ 20 points led Webb (12-5 overall and 3-0 in Division II-A East Region District 1), while David Sanger added 16. Tariq Daughton and Uriah Powers scored 15 each. Luke Burnett had 10.
Webb also got eight points from Jaylon Green, while Owen Feld and John Tolsma scored five apiece.
“We do a great job moving the ball around and we don’t care who scores,” Sanger said.
John Ogle led the Warriors (10-7, 2-1) with 13 points. Luke Carter added 11 while Dante Oliver and Denzel Jackson had nine points each. Griffin Parker scored seven and Jayden Housewright had six.
