KCSO police reports
• At 8:37 a.m., Friday, Jan. 10, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to his vehicle at an Augusta National Way address.
Complainant advised an unknown suspect stole items from his 2007 Lexus ES 350 sometime between 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, and 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 9. Complainant advised the vehicle was unlocked and no damage was made to the vehicle.
Stolen was various wrestling equipment, with a listed value at $350, and a backpack, with a listed value of $80.
• At 3:49 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, a complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report a burglary to her 2018 Nissan Versa at the Sprint store parking lot, 11655 Parkside Drive. She advised an unknown suspect shattered her front passenger side window to gain entry and stole items. Total value of damage was listed at $200. Items taken were a purse ($125), wallet ($75) her Tennessee driver’s license ($25) and a debit card.
• At 10:08 a.m., Jan. 9, a Georgetowne Drive complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report a stolen vehicle. He advised an unknown suspect took his 2006 Toyota Highlander from his driveway. Complainant advised he might have had a spare key inside the vehicle.
Total value of loss was listed at $6,500.
He stated the vehicle has a sticker on the back near the license plate that says, “If you are prepared for a zombie apocalypse you are prepared for anything.”
