• Farragut Health & Wellness Expo, presented by Turkey Creek Medical Center, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 28, in Farragut Community Center gym, 239 Jamestowne Blvd. Free of charge, this Expo will include all aspects of health and wellness, from health organizations and fitness businesses to financial experts.
• Town of Farragut currently is accepting applications for community grants for fiscal year 2021 (from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021). Applications must be received in Town Hall by 4 p.m., Friday, April 1, in order to be considered for inclusion in the Town’s FY2021 budget. Information regarding this process, including eligibility requirements, are at townoffarragut.org/grants. Applications may be submitted at Farragut Town Hall, 11408 Municipal Center Drive, faxed to 865-675-2096 (attention: Farragut community grants) or e-mailed to jhatmaker@townoffarragut.org.
• The first Town of Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting for March begins with a workshop starting at 6 p.m., tonight, Thursday, March 12., to discuss rehabilitation and medical-related facilities. The workshop, and the regular meeting that follows starting at 7 p.m., will be in Town Hall Boardroom (11408 Municipal Center Drive).
