Rebranding, expanding, it’s now His Security & Technology
With 10 years under its belt, His Security, LLC, is celebrating the milestone with a ribbon cutting, an expansion of its office at 11426 Kingston Pike and rebranding to His Security & Technology.
“We are so much more than just security,” said Scott Brockamp, co-owner of the company with Doug Fraker.
“In the growing age of technology, we thought it was important to put ‘technology’ in the name.
““Security is just a part of it.”
Besides security, the company also provides everything a homeowner needs to have a smart home, including audio-video for home theaters, smart TVs, data networking for WiFi, video monitoring, asset protection and smart censors.
“As we continue to grow into artificial intelligence, the internet of things, the majority of our business focuses on those technology pieces,” Brockamp said.
The locally owned and operated company was scheduled to hold a re-grand opening and ribbon cutting, hosted by Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce, at 10 a.m., Friday, March 27, at its office, 11426 Kingston Pike, Farragut.
“I’m surprised at how quickly it went,” Fraker reflected. “It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years already, and three years (after moving to Farragut), and we are expanding again.
“We’ve truly been blessed. God has been good,” he added.
Brockamp agreed, explaining the “His” in the company named refers to the Lord.
“When people ask about ‘His,’ we just point up (to the sky),” Brockamp added. “It’s all His.”
His Security & Technology is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed weekends.

Brockamp and Fraker, moved the company’s location from Suburban Office Plaza off Gallaher View Road to Farragut three years ago.
“We wanted to be seen, and we wanted to have an inviting place for people to come and walk in the front door,” he said.
And, he added, West Knox County always has been an area in which the company excelled.
“We had a lot of clientele to begin with, so it was a natural area to look at,” he said. “From day one, when we started talking about moving to Farragut, everyone was so receptive and so supportive of it. We just knew that’s where we needed to call home.”
That move “has been absolutely phenomenal — the support of the community, the support of the Town of Farragut and the amount of customers who just walk in the front door, some just to say ‘hi,’ some who have questions about their equipment or services to add on.”
Three years, later the company is adding 950 square feet to its existing 2,200 square feet.
“When we got in here (in 2017), we were close to maxing out,” Brockamp said. ”Of course, we’ve continued to grow.
“We need to have some room to spread out so everybody has a good working environment,” he said. “The space downstairs became available, and it’s just a natural space for us.”
The owners are moving their sales staff downstairs and have an environment for the technicians as well.
“We’ve moved a lot of our stock and supplies down there, but it’s also going to afford us an area … for training,” Brockamp added.
Most of the upstairs will remain the same, but with the addition of some offices.
