• Dr. Keri J. McFarlane, a family practice physician, has joined Tennova Medical Group’s Tennova Primary Care-Farragut on the campus of Turkey Creek Medical Center, 10810 Parkside Drive, Suite 108. Same-day appointments and telehealth are available. Prior to joining Tennova, Dr. McFarlane was medical director of Northshore Urgent Care in West Knoxville.
• Morning Pointe Senior Living announces plans for a new senior living and Alzheimer’s memory care community along Reagan Road, located off Hardin Valley Road and Pellissippi Parkway. Construction is set for summer 2020 with a grand opening in late 2021. This marks Morning Pointe’s third community in the Greater Knox County area.
• Analysis and Measurement Services Corporation, a Knoxville-headquartered nuclear engineering consulting firm, recently was awarded three Phase 1 research and development grants from the U.S. Department of Energy totaling nearly $600,000. “As a market leader in predictive maintenance technology for nuclear plants, AMS is honored to be the recipients of these important R&D grants from DOE,” said Alex Hashemian, AMS director of R&D Group.
