The Farragut community checked out a new event, which Shop Farragut/Farragut Business Alliance presented in Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd., Saturday, Aug. 8.

Farragut Health and Wellness Expo drew about 350 people to see what health and wellness services and products were available. To keep within COVID-19-prevention guidelines, visitors were guided to the Assembly Room and then to the gymnasium, where about 30 businesses were set up to greet them and show them what they had to offer.

Visitors could take a minute’s lesson on CPR, learn where to find a fitness trainer, how to hear better and how to add amenities so the elderly could stay in their homes.

Additionally, there were wellness products, as well as services to be healthier financially and to have a better home.
