Helen Shipley recently celebrated her 100th birthday at her Morning Pointe of Lenoir City home. Friends and family organized a parade outside the assisted living community, sharing colorful signs and wishing her well as she watched from a safe distance behind a glass sliding door. She was even able to meet her newborn great-great-granddaughter during her parade. “Now more than ever, it is so important for families to observe these important milestones,” said Camie Entrekin, Morning Pointe Life Enrichment director. “It has been a heartwarming experience working together with residents’ family and friends to find safe ways for everyone to celebrate together.”
