CUMC outdoor service set Sept. 6
Concord United Methodist Church will be holding its first in-person worship service since March beginning at 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 6.
Senior Pastor Larry Trotter recently announced “Worship on the Lawn” to church members via e-mail. He said the gathering will be on the west side of the front lawn.
Those attending are invited to bring chairs, allowing for 6 feet of distancing between individuals and families. Masks will be required for everyone over the age of 2.
It is also a requirement of the Holston Conference that each person attending bring contact information on an index card, in the event of Covid-19 exposure.
“This is a (Holston) Conference ference requirement and an important safety precaution should anyone subsequently notify us that they are positive for Covid-19,” Trotter added.
