Farragut’s China Pearl has closed. The restaurant, located at 115 Brooklawn St., had been in business for at least 20 years. Signage on its front doors stated: “We are sad to announce that we will closing permanently at this location starting 8/27/2020. Thank you for your long time support and business for the past few decades! We wish you all the best.” Employees had indicated the likelihood of closing earlier this year, partially citing the pandemic but also stating the rent had increased on their building.
