KCSO reports
• At 7:56 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29, a Knox County Sheriff’s Office unit responded to a Duzane Drive residence for a domestic matter. Upon investigation, the victim said the eventual arrestee was suffering from some mental health issues and was demanding victim and he drive to Dallas, Texas, to visit his sister. Victim also said the eventual arrestee forcefully tried dragging him out of his chair for about 20 minutes and tried to grab his cell phone and car keys out of his hands. Victim further said he started walking outside to avoid an altercation, but the eventual arrestee began following him and pulling him by the back of his shirt. Arrestee refused to answer questions during the investigation and was taken into custody without further incident. Victim was given a Blue Card and advised of his rights under domestic violence.
• At 9:32 a.m., Friday, Aug. 28, a complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report a theft at a Brochardt Boulevard address. Complainant advised she has had construction workers in her residence and she believes one of them took her ring, a 1-karat marquise diamond white-gold wedding ring with diamond band. Value of the ring was listed at $9,000.
• At 8:47 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, a KCSO unit responded to a Mcfee Road address for an alarm coming from the basement back door. Upon arrival, officer reported speaking to the property manager, who said someone attempted to break in through the basement door. It was discovered someone had taken a metal pipe and appeared to have hit the door lock several times, breaking it, then took a metal fence post and attempted to pry the door open, breaking the latch at the top of the door. Forensic unit (Xray 4 Trotter) was called and took pictures for evidence. Estimated value of damage was listed at $500.
• At 2:46 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, officers responded to a North Watt Road address on reports of a suspicious vehicle. Complainant said when she was leaving her residence, she observed a white “work van” driven by the suspect. Victim said she had been informed by mutual friends the suspect has been asking about her work schedule and her routine. Victim said she believes the suspect is following her around. The vehicle was gone upon officers’ arrival to the area.
• At 7:20 a.m., Friday, Aug. 21, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to his vehicle, a 2015 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck, at Pilot, 701 N. Campbell Station Road. Complainant advised an unknown suspect stole a Smith & Wesson handgun — with an estimated value listed at $1,000 — from the vehicle between 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 13, and 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 20. Complainant said he had stopped to get gas at Pilot and left the vehicle unlocked while he went into the store. Complainant further advised the vehicle had been parked and locked since the most recent listed date and there was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle. Complainant said Pilot does have video footage.
