KCSO police reports
• At 7:02 a.m., Monday, Aug. 24, Knox County Sheriff’s Office Task Force Officers with the Drug Related Death Task Force executed a search warrant at a Towne Road residence with the assistance of KCSO Narcotics and KCSO SWAT Team. Upon entry, officers encountered five individuals in the master bedroom of the residence. Officers located and seized the following: two handguns with numerous rounds of ammunition, about 3 ounces of a substance believed to be methamphetamine (schedule II), about 4 ounces of a substances believed to be heroin (schedule I), about 1 ounce believed to be methamphetamine laced with fentanyl (schedule II), about 11 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana (schedule VI), nine gabapentin pills (schedule IV) and $2,817 in cash. Officers also located packaging materials, digital scales and paperwork considered “ledgers.” These offenses did occur within a school zone. As officers came into contact with suspect/victim, they witnessed him put something believed to be narcotics in his mouth. He would not admit to what he ingested. AMR was called to the scene to render aid to suspect/victim.
• At 1:46 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, a KCSO unit responded to 11507 Kingston Pike, Snappy Tomato Pizza, on reports of counterfeit U.S. currency. Officer made contact with the complainant/store manager, who said he was counting his cash when he realized two $20 bills seemed to be fake. He then said the company Snappy Tomato Pizza has had this issue in the past. It was collected and was taken to property at Knox County Jail.
• At 9:30 a.m., a complainant called North Precinct to file a report regarding a theft, which occurred at a Campbell Lakes Drive residence. According to the complainant, between 10:15 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19, and 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, person(s) unknown cut a strap on his flatbed trailer and stole a box containing a lift kit. Complainant said the trailer belonged to him, but property he was hauling belongs to his employer, Redeemed By His Grace. Value of loss was listed at $2,079.75
