Holiday wreaths for each Knox Co. deceased veteran again the goal of local Wreaths Across America
The goal is to have “a beautiful evergreen wreath” for every Veteran in Knox County’s three Knoxville Veterans cemeteries.
“We still need a lot of donors to step up,” a WAA press release stated, also noting its effort is “entirely donor driven, no state or federal funding.
“… Honoring those in the Knoxville Veteran cemeteries is becoming a Knoxville holiday tradition,” the release also stated.

Wreaths will be placed beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at Knoxville National Cemetery along Tyson St., and beginning at noon that same day at the State Veteran cemeteries along Lyons View Pike and Gov. John Sevier Highway.
