Led by state champ HVA boys, coach Brown, All-Metro boys, girls cross country teams told
As Division I Boys Large state cross country champs, Hardin Valley Academy led the way as Metro Association has selected its All-Metro boys and girls teams, Runners of the Year and Coach of the Year.
HVA junior Kaden Keller, Region champ and All-state honoree, was named Boys Runner of the Year. He was joined by All-Metro teammates Alex Brittain, Nate Hillis, Mitchell McCown and Andrew Schultz.
Trevor Coggin of Farragut and Riley Smith of Knoxville Catholic rounded out this team. Bryan Brown, HVA head coach, was named Coach of the Year.
Girls honorees were led by freshman Maddie Archdale of HVA, the region’s top All-state honoree, along with four members of the Division I Large state runner-up FHS Lady Admirals: Camryn Johnson, Kennedy Reynolds, Lexi Foley and Melanie Hayman. Other honorees were Avery Holdsworth of HVA and Anna Graves of Webb School of Knoxville.
